Shannon truly has a passion for assisting and supporting daily needs for clients, and she genuinely brings a positive attitude to everything she does. Shannon is great at communicating and documenting when providing care to her clients and takes initiative by anticipating care needs. “I just love helping other people,” said Shannon.
Shannon attributes much of her success as a caregiver to her 10-year-old son that has special needs. Caring for her son has played a large part in developing her caregiving abilities and desire to help others.

SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT SHANNON:
· She was raised in all parts of Georgia in the country. However, she prefers the city and doesn’t care much for the Georgia bugs!
· She loves arts and crafts. She makes shirts, dog tags, puzzles, face masks, cups, and stockings. In the past, she used to spend a lot of time drawing but jokingly says that she can’t draw now and just loves to make things.
· She loves sushi, spaghetti, and lasagna!
· Some interesting things you wouldn’t know unless Shannon told you are that she is the hairdresser for her family and that she loves to donate any chance she gets.
With this award, Shannon has received a special gift from Home Helpers of Bradenton and has also been nominated for consideration for the Home Helpers of Bradenton Exceptional Caregiver of the Year, the Tampa Bay Home Helpers Exceptional Caregiver of the Year, and the national Home Helpers Home Care Exceptional Caregiver of the Year.
