FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Greater Tampa Bay 2020 Exceptional Caregiver of the Year Award Given to Provider at Home Helpers Home Care of Clearwater
Award winner was chosen among nominees from six Home Helpers locations
Home Helpers Greater Tampa Bay Area has announced Renee Lance as its 2020 Exceptional Caregiver of the Year. Lance, a certified nursing assistant, works at Home Helpers Home Care of Clearwater.
The six Home Helpers franchise locations in the Tampa Bay area (Bradenton, Clearwater, East Tampa, Polk County, Tampa Bay, and Westchase) nominated exceptional caregivers within their agency throughout the year. One overall caregiver winner was chosen for each franchise location, and each of these winners automatically became a finalist for the 2020 Exceptional Caregiver of the Year.
Renee, who has worked with Home Helpers of Clearwater for about a year and a half, is well-loved by her clients and is someone they can always rely on to help, says Debbie Humphrey, owner of Home Helpers Home Care of Clearwater. Her care notes about clients are always accurate, detailed, and precise. “She’s dependable and responsible,” Humphrey says. Although any caregiver can learn the skills needed to do the job, one thing that can’t be taught is how to care with an open, loving heart—and that is something that comes naturally to Renee, Humphrey says.
Like other caregivers with Home Helpers, Renee has followed special protocols over the past year to help keep clients safe from COVID-19, including using a mask, sanitizer, and wiping down surfaces in clients’ homes.
Renee will receive a $500 gift card as the 2020 Exceptional Caregiver of the Year.
