Naya has been a part of our Home Helpers senior care team for just shy of 6 months but has quickly made an impact. We are very proud to announce that she is our April 2022 Exceptional Caregiver of the Month Award winner. Since joining our team, we have received several compliments about her: "She is a wonderful, hard worker" and "She is great. We love the way she takes care of dad." Naya even bought flowers and balloons for a client, which really made a significant impact in the day for that client. When interviewing Naya about the award, she talked about her "love of helping others" and the joy it brings her to help "put smiles on others' faces."

- She is originally from Haiti
- She has two sons, currently ages 8 and 4.
- She moved to Florida over seven years ago. She took classes in Haiti before moving here to learn English.
- She loves going to church and parks with her children.
- Her favorite foods are Haitian cuisines! But she also loves eating at local restaurants.
- Some thing you probably wouldn't know about Naya unless she told you is that she is proud of the work she did at Goodwill for five years.
With this award, Naya has received a special gift from Home Helpers of Bradenton and has also been nominated for consideration for the Home Helpers of Bradenton Exceptional Caregiver of the Year, the Tampa Bay Home Helpers Exceptional Caregiver of the Year, and the national Home Helpers Home Care Exceptional Caregiver of the Year.
