We are proud to announce that Shari is the recipient of the Exceptional Caregiver of the Month Award for June 2021! Shari is an experienced caregiver who joined the Home Helpers senior care team in 2015, which amounts to just shy of 6 years with the agency! Wow!
Shari's caregiving style is marked by compassion, kindness, reliability, and consistency – traits that foster genuine, long-term relationships with the clients she serves. She takes a lot of pride in the in-home care services she provides and has great respect for this work to ensure the clients' needs are met while in the comfort of their home. When asked why she loves being a caregiver, Shari talked about how rewarding it is to be of service to the community. Caring for our seniors allows her to have "lots of moms and dads and plenty of extended family". - She is originally from England, near the cities of Huntingdon and Cambridge.
- She moved to Florida in 1985.
- She has two sons, ages 22 and 19.
- She is grandmother to a young boy that was fostered by one of her sons.
- She loves spending time with her family. She speaks very fondly of family cruises and trips to Spain and Puerto Rico.
- She also loves to decorate.
- Her favorite foods are Mexican cuisine, a great Ribeye steak, and a delicious chicken Caesar salad.
