Shooting Star Award

Owners Rob and Amanda Christie of Home Helpers and Direct Link of the MOV were recently honored as the recipients of the 2016 Shooting Star Award. Rob and Amanda were presented with the honor at the company/s National Conference in Nashville on April 20th 2016.

The Home Helpers and Direct Link "Shooting Star Award" was established to recognize those franchises who consistently continue to grow all aspects of their business through operational efficiency, client satisfaction responses, successful local marketing and exceptional services. One franchise owner from each region is Recognized with this award.

"It is an honor to be presented with this award," Christie said. "As the number of families who are facing responsibility of caring for aging loved ones continues to increase, there is no better time than the present to educate the local community of their care options. Opening a Home Helpers Franchise has allowed us to Carry out our passion of making a difference in the lives of those around us.

Home Helpers offers free in-home consultations and works with clients and their families one-on-one to tailor flexible care plans to meet their specific needs and budgets, Services offered can range from companionship and light housekeeping to personal care services. Home Helpers is affiliated with Direct Link, a national provider of medical alert systems, including personal emergency response systems, automated medication dispensers and vital signs monitoring units.

Rob and Amanda were also the recipients of an inaugural award for the 2016 National Conference called the BOLD Diamond Award. BOLD which is Home Helpers guiding statement stands for:
