Winnifred and Philip Davis
When you’re looking for someone to care for you or for a loved one, you want a caregiver who feels like family. At Home Helpers of Palm Beach, we understand because we want that too. I’m Winnifred Davis and I own Home Helpers of Palm Beach with my husband, Philip Davis. I’ve been a caregiver for more than 30 years, including four years as the owner of Florida Private Home Care. Philip and I decided to transition our business into a Home Helpers franchise because we saw an awesome opportunity to expand the business and serve more people with the help of a national support system.
At Home Helpers, we specialize in providing comprehensive home care for seniors, new mothers and individuals needing recuperative and continuing assistance. We also offer Direct Link, our proprietary line of 24/7 medical alert systems, including a fall sensor with GPS locator and an automated medication dispenser. Home Helpers of Palm Beach serves Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, Juno Beach, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Wellington, Loxahatchee Grove, Riviera Beach, Palm Beach Shores, Palm Springs, Cloud Lake, Glen Ridge and Mongonia Park.

I started my career in caregiving when my mom left her job at a nursing home and I was offered the position. As I was working that job, I earned my Certified Nursing Assistant License and decided to spread my wings. I worked in hospitals and for various agencies over the years until Philip and I opened Florida Private Home Care in 2014 and then launched Home Helpers of Palm Beach. Philip and I originally went into business on our own because we saw an opportunity to bring the caregiving profession to a new level of understanding, compassion, care and love that only a dedicated personalized service could provide. Home Helper helps us take that to the next level.
Home Helpers of Palm Beach offers free in-home consultations and works with each client to create a flexible, affordable care plan based on a person’s individual needs. Services offered include personal care such as grooming, bathing, ambulation, medication management and care management as well as respite care, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, companionship and transportation. Home Helpers of Palm Beach also offers free in-home care assessments and in-home safety inspections.
We have Exceptional Caregivers – they are kind, compassionate, genuine and professional – and their heart is in the work. Our caregivers are hand-selected and trained to pay attention to every detail of each client’s comfort and well-being, both mentally and physically.
