Honoring Our Veterans
At Home Helpers Home Care of Monmouth County, our mission is to serve the community. There is no better opportunity for us to make an impact in our community than to help veterans who are our neighbors and live in our community. We can provide resources or access to experts who can assist you with options to get the help and care you need. If you are not familiar with how to get access to these benefits, we are happy to assist you.
Aid and Attendance
Many veterans or surviving spouses are unaware that there is a benefit available for assistance with activities of daily living. These benefits can pay for in-home care services such as assisting with bathing & grooming, dressing, errands, meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders and light housekeeping.
Housebound
Are you a veteran who is permanently disabled and confined to your home? You may qualify for a homebound benefit as part of the VA pension. This benefit may qualify for help in your home or a facility.
VA Health Care
As a veteran, you may qualify for the VA Health Care program. This program not only provides basic health care services but may also entitle you to home care services. You may qualify for VA medical benefits as a spouse, surviving spouse, dependent child, or caregiver.
Employment
As a veteran or the spouse of a veteran currently serving, we would like to help you with employment and training opportunities. Talk to us today about jobs we have currently have available and how you can make a difference in someone’s life through companionship and compassionate care.
Home Helpers of Monmouth County can assist with answering questions and providing resources to help you apply for these benefits. It is an honor to do so.
