Our Exceptional Caregivers
Every year Home Helpers® Home Care recognizes the exceptional Caregivers across the country for their attention to client care, compassion, and friendship. Although we have had and have many Exceptional Caregivers on our staff, these individuals have been nationally recognized, and we are proud to call them our own.
Meet Our 2021 Exceptional caregiver, JT
Meet our 2020 Exceptional Caregiver, Dennis G.On December 12, 2016 Dennis joined our company’s roster on a part time, Live-In basis. Immediately he became a client favorite wherever he was sent. Dennis is one of the most selfless caregivers when he is on shift. Whatever it takes for the client to be comfortable and comforted, Dennis will achieve that as his personal goal.
It is no surprise to us that Dennis was awarded our 2020 Exceptional Caregiver Finalist. Great job Dennis!
Meet our 2019 Exceptional Caregiver, Liz G.
Our agency’s first caregiver hired was Liz Gonzalez. Part of the reason for that was she is the owner’s Mother. As a lifelong caregiver Liz became not only the first caregiver of our company’s history but one of the most vital. Her versatility, flexibility, openness, and reliability allowed our company to provide quality care from the beginning. Hired on July 11th, 2008, Liz is now our longest serving Caregiver.
She has been her current client’s caregiver since the beginning when the client signed on August 12, 2010. Due to her all around perseverance she was awarded the 2019 Exceptional Caregiver Award where she was recognized at our National Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Meet our 2018 Exceptional Caregiver, Anne B.
On September 25th, 2013 our agency hired Anne B. after we took care of her own father. During our time caring for her father, we had the pleasure to be interviewed by ABC 7 News regarding the struggles of caring for someone with Dementia. Anne’s reliability stood out for us as she always made accommodations to assist us with all and any last-minute fill ins that came up. She also took care of clients that were very difficult in terms of level of care.
Although Anne had to leave our agency to care for others, her son Don now works for us. His own work ethic and compassion for the elderly stem from that experience of caring for Anne’s father. We are blessed to have had Anne for the time we had her. Anne was honored for her hard work by becoming our 2018 Semi-Finalist for the Midwest Region.
Meet our 2017 Exceptional Caregiver, Diane B.
On May 23, 2014 our agency hired Diane B. to join our team. Almost from the beginning Diane showed her dedication to actively improve the quality of life of the clients she was assigned. The remarkable ethic we observed of Diane was her consistency in being her best regardless if the case was her regularly scheduled case or a one-time fill-in.
Diane continues to be an Exceptional Caregiver for our agency. We are proud to call her our own and we are very happy that her hard work day in and day out is forever recognized as our 2017 Exceptional Caregiver Finalist where she was awarded at our National Conference in San Diego, California.
