I am so proud to be a member of a group of empowered, equally-driven women, my Community Warrior Power Partners, who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors and their caregivers! We are YOUR Community Warriors, emphasizing the “Unity” in our Community!
Our November Thanksgiving event was a huge success! During the employee shift change, our Community Warrior Power Partners delivered each employee at Addington Place, an assisted living residence in Tarpon Springs, their choice of a FREE apple or pumpkin pie, just in time for Thanksgiving! This was simply a small token of appreciation to convey our gratitude for their hard work and dedication to the seniors in their charge.
There are so many compassionate caregivers in various settings that deserve our gratitude. It is incredibly important to recognize family caregivers and those who work diligently every day to care for the special seniors in our lives, no matter who or where they are.
Our December Community Warrior’s event will include EIGHT senior communities, where the Clearwater Jolley Trolley will transport Santa & Mrs Claus, along with a talented group of caring community caregiving carolers that will spread some major holiday cheer to the residents, nurses, caregivers and staff! The Community Warriors Christmas Crew will spend approximately 15 minutes at each facility singing beloved Christmas carols that are steeped in tradition.
To further emphasize unity in our community, we encourage you to join us for what will be a marvelous holiday experience with some of the best people you will ever meet in your life! Community Service Council of Pasco Serves 1000+ Meals on Thanksgiving
On behalf of the Community Service Council of West Pasco, Inc., we offer our sincere gratitude to Megan Beligiere and team, and all of the volunteers that made this year's Thanksgiving event brighten up the holiday for those who would otherwise go without. More than 1000 hot meals were delivered to families in need, which warms our hearts and souls!
I believe best practices in achieving unity in our community stems from the nurturing of the Community Warrior Power Partners and the Community Service Council of Pasco County. These powerful organizations strive to serve seniors and the elderly in Clearwater and throughout Pasco & Pinellas Counties with heart, soul and an undying desire to give back.
