SUSAN TERRY FOLEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
From November 2017 through her passing in September 2019, Home Helpers provided comprehensive caregiving services for Terry Foley, in Souderton, Pa. Care began with hourly shifts, and evolved into live-in care, as Terry's disease progressed. Her husband, Mark, was inspired by the commitment of Home Helpers' care staff and their delivery of exceptional care, and he raved about our services frequently to our office. Mark got to know the caregivers personally, and often noticed that they were seeking to improve themselves, through education (for example, college degrees C.N.A. and LPN programs).
Not long after Terry's passing in September 2019, Mark (a lifelong educator by profession) took the bold step of announcing a memorial scholarship fund, available to certain eligible employees of Delaware Valley Comfort at Home, LLC d/b/a "Home Helpers". The owners of the agency were thrilled by this generosity, and quickly collaborated with Mark to turn the inspiration into a reality, including helping contribute to the initial funding.

More ABOUT SUSAN TERRY FOLEY
Words from Susan's husband, Mark Foley...
Terry Foley
April 6, 1945 - September 11, 2019
This Susan Terry Foley Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in January 2021 to honor a beautiful lady who passed in peace while under home care provided by Delaware Valley Comfort at Home (Home Helpers). Home Helpers' caregivers supporter our family's efforts to give Terry comfort at home, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, over the last years of her life. They were extraordinary caregivers. They came into our home as workers and left as personal friends, and often, during down time, we observed so many of them actively studying to increase their certifications and/or pursuing their college degrees in the health care industry.
To revel in and celebrate the memory, one must accept the sadness it brings. We celebrate Terry for the "pure joy" she brought to all of us, both family and caregivers. The Susan Terry Foley Memorial Scholarship Fund is offered to perpetuate the memory.
