On May 10th, 2022, Maggie Dominici, Home Helpers’ Regional Manager for the Leigh Valley, presented an education program entitled “10 Warning Signs” to the Northampton Co. Area Agency on Aging for Citizens Advisory Council members.
Kellie A. Butsack, Associate Director Programs, Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter, had some enthusiastic comments to report.
After the program, two attendees approached Maggie to express interest in having Association programs presented for a local senior’s group they are involved with. A third attendee asked Maggie how to become a volunteer educator with the Association. I will be following up with that person all this week! This is how we expand our reach to more people in our communities who are impacted by Alzheimer's and dementia.
